Another shot here from the north shore. It was a tranquil day up in Grand Marias, an awesome little town a few hours north of Duluth, MN. If you ever find yourself there, you should grab a slice of pizza at Sven & Olies. Everytime I find myself there, life seems like a different animal all together. This shot is from Artist's Point. With the flat rock formations, a lot of pools tend to form. I thought the image had a good subtle contrast in the textures, the wind blown pool with its little ripples, the straight rigid rock formations, and the large expanse of lake superior.
